Howdy...today my app opened and is all in a 'dark mode'.  How can i switch it back?  I can't find it

You probably enabled this in menu "Window" -> "Style" -> "Night" ... or the LNM user interface adated itself to a dark mode used by the system.
You can choose Fusion. This is independent of the OS style.
