Motion Simulator Questions

Featured Replies

Hi All.

New here; second post.  Old pilot and aviation simster; flying Oculus Rift and Quest 2 with CH controls; presently building a motion simulator.

I bought my actuators, electronics, and software from a company called SimXperience; they are mostly about car racing simulators but the manufacturer does say the operating software (Sim Commander) will work with MSFS, DCS, and XP.

I'd like to fly those three sims plus IL2 / Flying Circus and P3D.  Everything I've been able to find online so far seems to indicate it will work but I'd like to hear from those with experience.

Has anyone here ever used Sim Commander to operate a motion platform in an aviation sim?

Was it an easy install or did you have problems; and if so, what were they and how did you overcome them?

Many thanks in advance.

Pat
