Okey with the releace of CanarySim 2006 I wanted to find out if there are any small aircraft that or working the skys over the real Canary Islands. In as much as the Twin Otter specifically. I've looked (very hard) to find info on small aircraft (Island Hopping) to see if there are any small carriers working in the Canary Islands. Reason being - the scenery is so great (newest release) it would be great to get close enough to appreciate it (with out being in something huge). It's at the end of this search I'm asking the question of the FSC. I've gotta think there is some Twin Otters over these islands. It's the perfect airplane for the job.. Any help appreciated. No doubt about it...Ronson2k

Not from there originaly, but have lived there for quite a few years and the proud airline of the Canarian Islands is the carrier "Binter Canaries"They use at least from what I would call smaller aircraft both the Beech 1900D, Fokker 50 and ATR72-500/210/200 for island jumping between all the Canarian Islands.Hope that helps a little.Thomas

Thanks for the reply. I have been looking pretty hard to find some airlines and that one is the one I could find. I'm not all that impressed with the paint scheme (that has nothiing to do with there service however). I also got a book on the area (travel guide - best places to eat/sleep just to see what they have there). I can't recomend the Canarysim 2006 enough it's totally cool. The one thing that would have made it even better would have been some info on the area (charts/diagrams). So I'm working on that myself. Anyway thanks for your help.Regional Airlines:http://www.airliners.net/open.file?id=0891...next_id=0828110 Also has some Beech 1900d's in the area. I think I'll be making a twin otter with a custom paint on it for the area. I know the faster turbo's are probably there as a replacement (upgrade from the slower bigger Twotters). If they ever had Twin Otters there in the past.I've been looking into this area for the past few days and I gotta say I really like it. The Islands themselves are spectacualar and then there is Morocco just off to the east with the atlas mountains. It's almost like the west coast of Canada (mush more desert though). Can't wait to make a flight from the Canaries to Casablanca Morocco. No doubt about it...Ronson2k
