VFR Too Many Sight Pointers Show

I have created a VFR flight plan from London City to Heathrow airports adding just Buckingham Palace as a point of interest.  Created and saved it and after loading it and taking off it shows all of the sight pointers in the area, in this case some 20 or so.  Is there a way of not displaying these extra pointers as they distract from the scenery on the way to Buckingham?
