Hi. In MSFS, I am trying to start a flight plan from a parking ramp. However when I save the flight plan in the MSFS format, then load it,it still puts me on the active runway. Any help would be much appreciated Thanks

This is a known issue with MSFS. The sim cannot load parking positions (it even does not save them) from flight plan files. You have to select the start position in MSFS in the dropdown list instead of the map after loading the plan. Choosing the start position on the map resets the whole flight plan.
