Hi, I have been attempting to enable widescreen in Flight Simulator X (Disk edition, not Steam). I've edited the .CFG file and set "WideViewAspect=True". It hasn't changed anything. Could I be doing something wrong?

Welcome to the AVSIM forums!  I think the WideViewAsdpect is only visible in the cockpit view.  Is that where you are testing it?  Keep in mind, that using the Widescreen will be more noticeable in a 2D cockpit and you will see the round gauges on the panel be stretched into oval shapes.
