Trackir/Voice Buddy now work for me

Recommended Posts

Hello,I'm posting this here because I feel that this is a FSX application issue. I was having no success with Voice Buddy and Trackir in my FSX setup. I found a post somewhere that talked about "Chip set" drivers. I don't really know what they are but I did a little research and found mine at NVIDIA. I have an ASUS AN8-SLI Delux motherboard. I downloaded the newest ones and installed them. Totally painless. After the install, both my Trackir and my Voice Buddy work 100%. No delays in operation and the same performance as in FS9. It did not improve my FPS (best tool I use here is TweakFPS for FSX) but it did get all of my applications that support my flight sim working better. Since my FS9 always worked fine I can only assume that FSX is more sensitive to the drivers.Hope this helps someone,Cheers,Ron Sagel

Could have been something in the way that the system was seeing the setup, and reinstalling the chipset drivers, reset the system setup.
