Linux + W10 XP11 database help

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I'm new here!! :) Wanted to be a pilot my whole life, now im a simPilot well atleast on my way to be.. I hope..

Im just havving a little issue with this and wondering if anyone know what is going on!! :)

So I have Windows 10 installed on my flying pc and linux mint MATE installed on my work laptop (I just use it for browsing/watching series/saving work files)

So this morning my brain backfire'd and said why don't you see if you can run navmap on linux??? BOOM!! Great idea, and it's downloading... Now for where I felt I was going wrong, As I opened Navmap on linux I got prompted to connect the sim files.. so never doing what I am doing before, I thought to just close the window. I looked up in the documentation for Little Navmap, and found I have to go to Tools>Files and Directories>Show Database Files. I managed to copy the files from my host computer to the laptop, but it still seems to be confused and says DATABASE is empty.

Will much appreciate any help :-)

Thanking you, Airtzel.

Hi Airtzel,

did you create the database files on the flying computer and then copy them to the Linux one?
This is normally no problem if you copy the right files to the right place.

Do not forget to close LNM on both sides before copying.
