Unmatched Liveries MSFS2020

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone and especially Nico.

This is by one of the absolute best pieces of software I have used for Flight Sim. Thanks very much Nico.

Can I please get some details from you or anyone if they have it of what fields in the aircraft.cfg are specifically required for model matching.

I have installed the Megapack but there are many inconsistencies with the aircraft, cfg's for all the liveries, I have gone trough all the error logs in AILG and have manually fixed 90% of the aircraft.cfg's. (Most of the issues were ICAO Codes)

I know the authors of the liveries have worked hard and created great liveries but I wish they had made sure they had standardised they way they use the cfg's, lots of missing data, typos, missing "" missing ; etc etc.

If you could let me know exactly what is required I am going to write a script to edit the files and tidy them all up.

Also I cant find issues with my B787-10 Liveries but all of them are failing so I think it might be something in the base pack from Asobo, any Ideas?

Many thanks again Nico a great bit of code that is very much appreciated.

Paul

You can find the exact specification of what is taken from the aircraft.cfg file in the AILG_MSFS Manual in section 3.5

How model matching takes place is described in the PSXseeconTraffic Manual, chapter 9.

... and thanks for your kind words  🙂
