Missing Logbook after installing Vista and FSX!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi All,I installed Vista today and as I have 2 Hard drives, relocated my documents to the second drive. However after I installed FSX and started it up, no logbooks and no way of saving flights! Has anyone else had this problem or can offer a solution?I've tried searching for the log, but cant get anything on either. Bloody PC's!!!!!!

Bloody PC's!!!!!!Sounds like something got changed/is missing in your Windows Registry. If you moved /my documents manually, and upgraded, your registry is probably meessed up, becuase FS setup wrote a key pointing it to the drive it used to be on, vis, if you move your mydocuments to d: manually all the programs you installed before that that make use of it will try to find it on c: and you will get errors. Was your log in documents and settingsxxxmydocumentsflight simulator files? (where xxxs is your particular user name) If so, you should still be able to see logbook.bin, I think it's called in there. Probably the easiest thing is to leave those system files on C:
