April 23, 200719 yr The Application DataMicrosoftFSX directory is where the program puts files that it creates on its own accord (ie, these are Application Data files :-> )The My DocumentsFlight Simulator X Files directory is where the program puts files that the user specifically saves (ie your documents :-> ). April 23, 200719 yr Think logically. The cfg file applies to the SIM, so will apply whoever is the user. The save files are applicable to the USER, and may vary if there is more than one user on the computer who is simming. The FSX license is for a single installation. It says nothing about being for a single user, so it is perfectly possible to have several user profiles for different family members all of whom like to sim and who want their own game saves.Allcott
