July 10, 20214 yr This is the achievement you have to fly 300 miles unassisted. Flown it a half dozen times with no success. Have the assistance option set true to life. Do i Have to use ATC? Tried VFR without success. I really find ATC to be more of an annoyance than a help in this sim. The phraseology and procedures are horrible. Never heard the phrase continue as planned in the world. FS9 and FSX weren't perfect, (Who can forget those 40 mile turns to final.) but at least there was some resemblance to real world procedures with vectors to approaches. I would have thought they could carry over some of it from previous versions. instead of producing more eye candy, I'd hope they'd spend a little more time on the other issues.
