July 11, 20214 yr Hi, I fly a lot with the dc6 PMDG on FS2020. These planes did not fly very high, between 10,000 and 20,000 'approximately. When we generate a flight plan on LNM, he wants to follow the procedures concerning the levels of flights and often I am too low! So LNM does not want to calculate the flight profile and does not calculate the fuel consumption. Is it possible to tell him not to take into account the flight levels to be respected? Thank you Jean Noel Barruche Barrois
July 11, 20214 yr LNM uses your set cruise altitude if you calculate a flight plan. This can affect selection of airways due to altitude restrictions. In worst case you get a list of waypoints or a detour. Using low levels is no problem. Just don't select SID and STAR which have altitude restriction conflicting with your cruise altitude. Calculating using Radio Navaids has no restrictions. Regarding the elevation profile: You need to have a proper profile for the aircraft. You can download one from https://www.littlenavmap.org/downloads/Aircraft Performance/MSFS/ (don't look, there is none for the DC-6) or create your own. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
July 12, 20214 yr Author Hi Alex, Thank you for your answers. Regarding the PMDG DC6, I would like to post my performance file on the link you give. How to do ? I made the measurements with zero wind and with climb and descent rates of 1000 '/ min and with the cruising speed set by the AFE (automated flight engineer). JN BB

The old fashioned way. 🙂 You can send it to me by email and I'll upload it to https://www.littlenavmap.org/downloads/Aircraft Performance/MSFS/ Email address is here: https://albar965.github.io/contact.html Thanks a lot in advance.
