Own aircraft "duplicated" when online

Featured Replies

Almost all my flights are online with Vatsim and when doing so I can see the Vatsim traffic shown in red.   However, this also includes a Vatsim feed for my own aircraft.  So I can see my own aircraft in real time as a yellow plane, but also the red Vatsim feed which is delayed.   Is there any way to filter out my own Vatsim aircraft ?     I use another product for my IFR flights and it has a facility which allows me to exclude the Vatsim for my own aircraft feed by inputting my callsign.    If it's not possible, could this be considered for a future addition ?

Thank you.

Andrew

LNM removes the duplicate user and other aircraft automatically if the callsign from the online feed matches the aircraft registration from the simulator aircraft.

I'll add the manual option in a future update or maybe even have a better idea. Have to see.

Ahhhh ........ the vPilot client does not accept a hyphen in the call sign which seems to be the format FSX uses  ie G-BAFC  where as Vatsim/vPilot will use GBAFC.   I can edit the ATC_ID line in the aircraft cfg file and remove the hyphen and Vatsim and sim now agree and the duplicate disappears .   If something can be developed to simplify that and avoid needing to edit cfg's that would be a great help.

Thank you for the help.
