Bought it after Microsoft Flight Sim needed a very expensive graphics card upgrade, at this stage all i need to know is how I assign, engine,brakes, flaps, steering etc.. to my keyboard or Logitech Joystick. Thank you

From your opening screen, choose 'Settings'

Then, from the various tabs, choose 'Joystick':

There is a drop down list for 'Device' that should list all of the peripherals that you have plugged in.  From here, you can calibrate the device and choose which axis or button is used for what, reverse direction, change response curve, etc.. 

You can either leave those settings for all of your flights (the default 'User Profile' ), or you can also save a particular profile by using the 'Manage Profiles' button.

For assigning buttons, scroll down and you will see them all listed:

Find the button you want to assign.  Click 'Edit'  Scroll down the long list of commands or use the search to find the command you want from the custom list and assign it

 

Similar process for the Keyboard which has its own Tab on the Settings page.
