FSX should look better in the Spring

Featured Replies

One thing I have noticed is that the missions look great (ultralight in Franceand the beginner sailplane mission for example). It bothered me how good the missions looked when my free flight timeseemed to be in drab and boring areas. Aside from the fact that I dontcare for some of the textures (other textures look really good) -- Itseems to me that most of us will start to enjoy flying in areas thatare familiar to us more and more as springtime approaches and everythingstarts turning green again.I flew from Miami to the Florida keys yesterday and it all looked prettygood.I've also noticed some screen shots in the screen shot forum from a guythat has a cool looking American airlines jet taking off out of DFW.I live in the DFW area but I havent flown in this area for a whilebecause the last time I did, it was still drab and brown.I hope the SP1 will help performance. I wish those of you who are unhappycould find something to at least make you less unhappy. For me I gotrid of all autogen buildings and I can have lots of trees and lots of sceneryand good mesh and texture resolution. I love the auto traffic and boats. For me its just some of the textures and the way they are laid on the ground thatdoesnt look right but everything about FSX seems to look better asthe textures 'green up' with springtime.I hope we all start enjoying it more. maybe Microsoft should only releaseflight sim in the springtime.
