FSUIPC and PMDG

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am absolutely fascinated as to why PMDG decided not to work with FSUIPC, one of the best controller programs in the Flight Sim world, but then rely on Microsoft programming, one of the worst?

Having recently bought DC6 for MSFS it is a pain that I now have to completely switch all my controllers in MSFS to run on MSFS for the DC6 and then back to MSFS setup for FSUIP for every other plane I have ever used.

Have not even bothered trying to get Spad.Next to do anything for the DC6

Anybody have any idea why they made this decision?

Thanks

Huh?   PMDG has the most robust SDK available on any 3rd Party add on, which literally exposes every event.  You can use FSUIPC to access said events if you choose.  It’s precisely why their planes are preferred by cockpit builders. Finally, in PMDGs 20+ year history, when have they worked with FSUIPC?
