Unable to open Little NavMap

Featured Replies

I have downloaded and installed LNM. Yesterday I was able to open LNM on my desktop. Today I am not able to open (see) the program on my desktop.

The shorthcut to start LNM just says that it is connected to my MSFS 2020 simulator.

How can I open LNM? Any help will be appreciated.

I guess my problem is that I am unable to install/download Simconnect.

update simconnect question

Hi,

here is the answer to your email:

you don't have to install SimConnect. This is already included with LNM.
Also no need to use a shortcut. You can go to the LNM installation/extraction folder and double click the "littlenavmap.exe" directly to start LNM.

But I'm not sure if I understood correctly.
Is the Windows shortcut missing on the desktop or does the LNM window not show up after starting?

Alex,

Thank you for your reply.

I figured out the problem. Somehow the installation process extracts the files into a non existing dropbox folder. Since I do not use dropbox and dont want to use this payware program.. that was a "dead end".

To get back I instead installed in "C:\Users|vogel\OneDrive\Documents\Little Navmap\littlenavmap.exe" and now everything works perfectly.
