You need to install and run Navconnect only on the flying computer. Then you can install Navmap on the iPad (provided it is a pro capable to run applications) and connect via Navconnect to the simulator.

See here for details how to setup a remote connection: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.6/en/NETWORK.html

Feel free to ask if something is not clear.

Alex,

when I double click on Little Navconnect I simply get the screen that says it is connected.

I do not get the blue “box” that allows me to connect.

Alex,

I have a second question.

It is difficult for me to select the departure and arrival airports from the many small items on the map.

is there a way to search by airport name?

thank you.

Look at "Search window" (switched on/off by <ALT><1> or direct shortcut <F4>)  - under "Airports" tab.
You can search by ICAO code, airport name, city, ... etc.

Piotr

That's ok. It connects automatically to whatever simulator is available. You can click "X-Plane" / "FSX, P3D and MSFS" if you have more than one sim installed.

Hello Alex,

I never get this message after starting Little Navconnect 2.6.15 and it says [2021-08-24 17:03:20] Connected to simulator.

"Little Navconnect is running and waiting for a flight simulator. The FSX or Prepar3D and X-Plane buttons are not shown on macOS and Linux or if SimConnect is not available."

You probably started the simulator before Navconnect.
