September 12, 20214 yr I saw one of these canard equipped 182's depart from Oshkosh, and immediately thought that the concept was so cool. I decided to look into it a bit further. It's an interesting mix of STOL performance, safety, and cruise performance. I'd love to see quirky birds like this in the sim. It's predecessor, the Wren 460, was even more interesting to me. It was equipped with moveable spoilers called "Wren's Teeth" atop each wing. Pretty wild concept, kind of makes sense. The video below is time linked to the segment showing the "Wren's Teeth" in action. Unfortunately it's not the best video.
