September 29, 20214 yr Having my cloud saved files obviously corrupted, I found, by trials and errors, that the following procedure could bring back the clean files saved on the computer. This is for the Steam version but, I suppose, should also work on the MS Shop version. - Switch OFF all online functionality in Data - Exit the sim - Disconnect the computer from the internet (necessary, if not this does not work) - Launch the sim - The sim is now totally offline and the Controls Options panel loads - Switch online functionality back ON - Exit the sim - Launch the sim. Steam will warn that the Cloud and computer saves are not the same and ask to choose one. Choose to upload the computer saves.
