Avionics off and will not go on--Stability

Featured Replies

All avionics is off and not usable even in steam gauge planes (e.g. Waco, ah SPITFIRE, ah Electra).  Clicking switch moves the switch but has no other effect in the sim.  Is this a known issue?  Is there a fix?  I have, of course, rebooted the sim and the computer several times, nothing has been added or changed since yesterday when everything worked fine.

It seems that every time I boot up MSFS, it is a tossup (50/50) as to whether I will be enjoying a flight or discovering "today's issue"--in other words, whether i will be using the sim or spending at least a few hours of my flight time on the forums trying to find a solution to something basic (like avionics) that  really should be stable after fourteen months.

If there is one essential characteristic of any software, to my mind it should be stability--without which there is very little enjoyment and a great deal of stress.
