October 11, 20214 yr So I decided to give FS2020 some time to mature after playing with it (successfully) for a few updates. I then received my Bravo throttle quadrant and ran into another delay as it didn't fit well with my desk so I took some more time to find a solution to that issue (which I have with something called the LowRider mount). Anyway, I finally came back in, but did update the sim with each new major update and world update. However, now it seems things are totally screwed. The first sign of trouble was that upon loading I got the "first time load" warning about the CRJ-700 (which I own and is the last plane I flew). It certainly wasn't the first time, but it did take about 10 minutes to load as per the warning. I then noticed I was getting all the default tool-tip help. I also noticed that I couldn't interact with much of anything in the cockpit. I could highlight just about every button and switch to make it turn blue, but nothing would actually .... switch. My mouse was there. It just couldn't click anything seemingly. SOME things worked. My yoke axis worked, (Alpha yoke) but not my rudder pedals. ALL devices respond in Windows 10 Game Controller applet. I then noticed ONE switch worked on the yoke -- my taxi lights. So I then started re-assigning those, but only some would function. The Beacon light (regardless of plane) will not switch. Nor will the strobe light. I have no lights on the throttle quadrant but I believe that's an old bug I watch a youtube video on months ago than can be fixed. Is my months of not playing, but updating, the culprit? I'd hate to have to wipe it all and start over again. Edited October 11, 20214 yr by Agrajag i7 8700K @4Ghz, EVGA RTX3080 Ultra, 32GB RAM, Two 2K displays.
