October 14, 20214 yr I use an 10m USB extension, to keep my PC available on both my TV and another monitor, more suited to flying. I have an odd problem with controls, with them lagging at times or outright not working or moving without me moving them at all. This seems to be affecting only my joystick and pedals, the keyboard and mouse work fine all the time. With my setup, everything is connected to my PCs USB port by the said extension, and devices themselves are connected by a USB 3.0 4 port. The extension, however, is USB 2.0. Could that be affecting my setup? Why does my mouse work perfectly fine, as does keyboard, but not my pedal and rudder? EDIT: Looks like they don’t work when I have the right button on my mouse clicked, which I often do when adjusting the view. Any idea how I can fix that? October 14, 20214 yr Hello, The USB 2.0 specification limits the length of a cable between USB 2.0 devices (full-speed or hi-speed) to 5 meters (or about 16 feet and 5 inches) 10 meters -> it lags You should use an ethernet KVM device
