Loading FP in the Wilco Falcon 7X

Featured Replies

Good day fellow simmers.

First of all yes, I did buy the Wilco Dassault Falcon 7X and it was only after that when I read about it's "glory" in the forums... It is a struggle but I am willing to get it to work since I think it is a beautiful aircraft.

I bought it through Steam for FSX-SE. Surely there must be someone out there with a little bit experience in the Wilco 7X.

My first problem was that I could not load a flight plan through the FMC. It always gives me this error: "Loading flight plan failed! This indicates a computer resource issue. Reloading flight plan recommended."

Now on the Support page of the 7X's product page it says to then load the flight plan by using the pop-up for the FMC... but that does not work either.

Also what I want to note here is that when I launch the "Falcon Configuration" .exe in the Simobject folder of the add-on it says "Saved flight plan directory could not be found. Loading flight plans from the MFD menu may not be possible." And that even though the flight plans are showing in the MFD menu...

Then, just now, I did manage to load a flight plan in the 7X by loading the flight plan file through the FSX flight planner, but with that it gives me an error when I try to load a SID or STAR in the MFD... I use Navigraph to update the database and enable SIDs and STARs in the first place... so it should work.

Any ideas?

Thank you 🙂

Alright never mind... this thing is actually more or less unflyable... If any of the mods could delete this post would be appreciated 🙂
