October 27, 20214 yr ✈️ Open invitation to any Caravan STOL pilots who happen to have some free time on Friday nights! ✈️ You're more than welcome to join us for another Gunpilot flight. Mixed group from all over, I'm in the USA, Gunny is an Aussie. It would be cool to see some of the names from around here sharing the same piece of sky, imo. I'd enjoy it. Quote Welcome to the 58th flight event in the Gunpilot’s Challenging Flights adventure series. This challenging flights event will be in the the mountains behind Calcutta (now named Kolcata) in India , and is again guaranteed to give you more of the heart pounding and sweaty palms experience that you have come to expect from Gunpilot’s flight events. What can I say that you have not heard before - as usual we will be flying our trusty Grand Caravan through the mountainous range that sits up north of Calcutta, where we will be departing from. Reasonably tough outlandings on mostly mountain slopes and a challenging deadstick glide will really test you out at extending a glide as far as possible to make the landing zone. If you have not experienced one of our Challenging Flights events before then come along for some fun and you will be made to feel welcome. Make it easy on yourself to navigate around the route and accurately pinpoint the exact landing areas by downloading and using the free “LittleNavMap” s/w you can get on the web - you will never open the standard sim VFR Map again once you have tried this fantastic app that integrates seamlessly with MSFS2020.
