Windshield effect "cutoff"

Recommended Posts

Hey there,

probably someone has seen a similar issue and know a solution for it, I dont :(

For some reasons ( I really have no idea why its happening) the windshield effect of my FSLabs is cutoff.

I did not change anything it starts suddenly.

The effect came back up again if I move the camera more backwards (not zoom, the camera position itself with chaseplane).

The next funny thing is, that the effect is at the beginning of the flight visible, but on approaches, its gone.

Here is a picture of what I mean.

I have already asked FSLabs and int he FSLabs Forum but did not get a real helpfull answer yet :(

This drives me crazy, Thanks for any hints what can cause this.

Cheers

Bernd

I think, I have fixed it finally.

NearClipOverride=0.5 looks good

ClipMode=Minimum

With ClipMode=Normal and NearClipOverride=1.5 the effect was completly gone.

With ClipMode=Minimum and NearClipOverride=1.5 the effect was gone only on the 2 front windows.

Strange stuff.

Just to add, I have removed NearClipOverride=0.5 again. Too much z-fighting stuff which burned my eyes 😄

This strange cutoffs are still happening, but not on every flight, I am still have no idea what is causing or initalizing this, I was not able to recreate it everytime I fly. Sometimes its happening sometimes not 😞

Cheers,
