MSFS: PSX+RealTraffic. Data provider red

Recommended Posts

Hi, I followed the instructions for installing PSX and RealTraffic. I don't see planes in airports and I think this is due to the red "Data provider" warning. I honestly don't know what to do.

Can I get help?

Thanks.

Hi

Your problem is exact the same problem as  the one that was posted today:  https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/610126-msfs-error-71/

See the error number (71) in the bottom line

You should use another user aircraft than the (commerciual) add-on from Aerosoft. Take one of ASobo's planes to see live traffic first.

Nico

Good morning Nico, thanks for the help.

While waiting for the answer I uninstalled both PSX and RealTraffic. I restarted my computer and reinstalled both programs.

I started MSFS and chose a default aircraft (A320 Neo).

The situation has even worsened, it seems that PSX cannot see my simulator (following image). Where did I go wrong?

My ivao_x-csl folder is located in C:\Users\myname\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community\ivao_x-csl

Thanks.

I finally succeeded! I had to delete all PSX and RealTraffic tracks from my PC.

I rebooted, reinstalled everything and here is the result. I see the planes (they are on Malpensa - LIMC) but it's not exactly in real time, right? For example, I was following a Helvetica Airlines on FR24 that was about to land but I didn't see it at all.

Nico, how exactly does it work?

It's about 45 seconds to 1 minutes behind real time.

Please read all the documentation.

Ok, I couldn't see some planes because - they explained to me - if there aren't any IVAO models, PSX won't be able to see them. It's correct?

If so, I would like to use AIG (Alpha India Group) models which are many more and have a lot of liveries.

Using their programs will create a folder named "aig-aitraffic-oci-beta" in the MSFS Community folder.

My question: will it conflict with that of IVAO (ivao_x-csl)?

Thanks.

@a) No that is not correct. If you set the live matching depth  (manual 4.7) at 10 PSXT  will always match a livery, read more about matching in  the Manual chapter 9

@b No it will not conflict, you can use all these packages at the same time.
