Hi,

I am currently running MSFS on an LG UltraGear 27GL850 monitor at 2560x1440 with an 8gb RX 5700XT GPU and get a good FPS but i want a 2nd monitor.

Not to drag parts/panels from MSFS onto that 2nd screen but more for things like Navigraph, and just desktop stuff like browsing, documents etc.while I run MSFS on the other monitor.

I would love to use the same monitor I already have since that looks nice but I wonder if it will really impact my performance when I want to use it the way I describe here. Anyone have thoughts on using two large monitors like this with MSFS?

thanks!

Your second monitor will not be “graphics intensive” in use, so no big demand of the GPU.

You might also connect it to the internal GPU of you mother board. It will be far sufficient to power that monitor with simple static programs.
