instruments in external view

I know this has been covered before. However the instruments have appeared in the external view  of my new installation of the sim.

I have gone into the settings to disable them and there is no longer an option in the camera settings to disable the HUD in external view.

Anyone got any ideas as to what may have happened and how to remedy the situation?

Options --> Assistance it is --> Heads Up Display
