Error 1935 installing SP1

Featured Replies

Is anybody else getting this error? IE:Error 1935: An error occurred during the installation of the assembly "Microsoft.FlightSimulator.SimConnect.publickeyToken="67c7c14424d61b5b", version="10.0.61242.0", type="win32", processor/architecture="x86".One other guy posted about this in the SP1 Technical thread but I haven't seen any other posts. Are we the only two getting this? Or just the only two posting about it? In searching the forum on Error 1935 it seems people were getting this same error message while installing FSX itself. How did anybody fix the error in that situation? Maybe the same solution could be applied to SP1. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks,Chris

yes, it happened to me too. I disabled Ad-Watch and everything went smooth.

Ad-Watch? Sorry..Don't think I have that...Don't even know what it is

Searched the Internet and it's part of Ad-Aware professional. I only had the free version which doesn't come with ad-watch. Unistalled Ad-Aware anyway....Didn't help. I am very close to trying a full re-install of Vista. Which I really don't want to do, but I don't know what else to do.Thanks for the suggestion though.
