January 6, 20224 yr If so can you let me know what motherboard you’re using? I was using a Msi Mag Tomahawk B550 and it was giving me a black screen, audio static noise and then crashing. I tried all the fixes..Bios update, changing pci-e to V.3.0,, internal and external usb add on and trying all the different usb’s. Nothing worked and the Rift S would disconnect at some time during every flight. I’m looking to see what B550 boards are working now with the Rift S. I’ve sent the Msi board back. February 5, 20224 yr There are no compatibility issues with mainboards. This must have been some defect or something else. Laminar Research customer -- Asobo/MS customer -- not an X-Aviation customer - or am I? 😉
February 11, 20224 yr Author There are lots of problems with main boards using Asmedia USB ports. All over the Oculus and other forums. Glad to say, I’ve now upgraded to a Z690 board and everything runs nice and smooth now. Cheers anyway.👍 Edited February 11, 20224 yr by Tonyp23
