When assigning Elevator Axis Y it provides neutral elevator and will only allow DOWN control when stick is pushed forward. Aileron and all other assignments are no problem. Any ideas?

problem went away!?

Strange!! I loaded the sim and selected F-18, it showed Axis Y as correct, then switched back to F-14 and Axis Y was correct ???????
