January 20, 20224 yr Saturdays Flight is a mixture to cater for all tastes. We shall be Carribbean Island hopping, coastal cruising, passing over dramatic mountains and city sightseeing. Starting from the Island of Gran Roque, we depart from Los Roques Airport (SVRS) and head E to Isla la Orchila landing at (SVLO) . Next we head ESE to Isla la Tortuga, landing at Punta Delgado Airport (SVDA). Due E again next to the beautiful Margarita Island landing at Santiago Marino Intl (SVMG) . Short hop S to Isla de Coche (SVIE) then onwards making landfall in Venezuela mainland at the city of Cumana landing at Mariscal Antonio Jose de Sucre (SVCU) . Coastal tour next SSW to the Venezuelan ciry of Barcelona (SVBC) then due W for 45miles to Playa Pintada (SVTP). continuing along the coast we reach the city of Higuerote (SVHG). Continuing W we climb to traverse the spine of the Avila Mountains that separate the Capital, Caracas, from the coast landing at Simon Bolivar International (SVMI). South next , climbing again, to the city and region of Charallave, just south of Caracas, landing at Oscar Machado Zuloaga Intl (SVCS). Final leg is 12 mile flight N to Caracas circuiting the city maybe more than once 😉 then landing at our Destination in the City centre at General Francisco Miranda (SVFM) Flight plans for this Here Aircraft recommended for this fight of 425 miles will be a Daher TBM 930 or the P-38 boys may wish another outing.
