Texture puzzle?????

Featured Replies

After becoming airborne, my aircraft textures go dingy some of the time, but not at others. (i.e. spotplane view). The first time I noticed this was on a flight with the Eaglesoft Citation CJ1 from KSAT to KHOU. Since then, I have seen it reoccur in other flights and with the Honda Jet. I have seen my aircraft become totally black. With the CJ1 I have also seen the Horizontal Stablizer, Engines and wings become black, while the rest of the aircraft looks normal. Then I saw exactly the opposite, the wings, stabilizer and engines looked normal, the rest of the plane was black. Other times the plane is very fragmented as shown by my screenshot. Everything is fine while taxing for takeoff. Then I change to the cockpit view and takeoff. In the air, the problem may or may not raise its head, nor do I know exactly where. I have not been able to isolate it to make it happen, nor correct it once it does happen. Naturally now when I want to show you screenshots, I cannot make the problem appear. I also tried with the default Learjet and everything worked fine, but I don't know if it is just teasing me or if the defaults do not have the problem. It does change in time such as black plane, fragmented plane, Mixed textures etc.I strongly suspect that this might be a NVIDIA glitch, but don't really know. My system specs are attached.Has anyone seen anything like this and/or know the cause and solution. Thanks:RTHASUS P5N-E-SLI MotherboardIntel E6600 Core2 Duo CPUZalman CNPS7700-CU RT CPU Fam4 GB KST DII800 MemoryWinXP ProNVIDIA VCG8800GTX 768MB Video Graphics CardSecondary Graphics NVIDIA GEForce FX5200 PCI Card21
