January 27, 20224 yr Hi Whenever I zoom in (during flying or on the ground) LNM jumps back to a certain zoomlevel after a few seconds. How can I stop that and keep it zoomed in in the level I want? tried searching in setting but unable to find where I can adjust this. Is it even possible? Cheers Pip
January 27, 20224 yr Yes you can change this. LNM tries to keep next flightplan waypoint and user aircraft on the map per default. This also changes the zoomlevel. Go to options on map "Simulator Aircraft" and uncheck "center map on aircraft and next flightplan waypoint". There's more to customize: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.6/en/OPTIONS.html#simulator-aircraft And keep this in mind: Quote Note that special gestures are recognized if you use the simple aircraft centering mode (Center map on aircraft and next flight plan waypoint disabled) or if Little Navmap falls back to this mode (see above): Using the mouse wheel, the + and - key or any other method first to zoom will change and keep the zoom distance. The aircraft is still centered but the new zoom distance is used. Starting to look around by first moving the map with mouse drag, cursor keys or any other movement: This will remember the last position and the zoom distance. You can do any map movements and Little Navmap will jump back to the last position and restore the zoom distance where you started the movement. The same from point two applies if you jump to airports, navaids or other features by double click, context menu (Show on Map) or map link. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

I go in and out of these setting and just for convienience would would welcome a few icons. Great program BTW and thanks for all you hard work and support. 5 MHz 8087 IBM Clone, 640k RAM, 10 MB HD, Hercules 64k Graphics card, 14 in Monochrome Monitor, CH Products Mach-1 Joy Stick.

Already thinking about this but no idea when. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
