Tweking wheel contact points

I purchasde the feel there 777 for fsx and noticed that the front wheel was off the ground ( and no it wasnt a balance thing ) and the rear wheels too sunk in. I tweked the values and came up with16.6 for front and 18.5 for both rear. Ceratinly looks ok. The next thing I noticed is that when i braked hard the front would compress correctly then the front wheel would sink into the ground a little. Is this a sim issue or can changing the damping , compressibilty fix it. That is only a minor issue and just intereseted as ive never really fiddled before. ANd yes i have posted to wilco, prefer to post on forum get quicker response.
