February 20, 20224 yr Hi there, My recent purchase of the pmdg 747 has so far been a great experience, I currently have a bug where it freezes for a minute or so from time to time but that is not the issue I am creating this topic about. Recently I did a flight out of KLAS and went to the dep/arr page in my fmc to plug in my SID as per usual, to my surprise this page was empty for KLAS, there were no runways or sids in there, I went to my arrival airports STAR section which was EGLL for this flight and all of the STARS were showing up properly, I chcecked the arrivals page for KLAS as well but there was nothing there either. I read some much earlier topics regarding this issue but none of these fixes helped me, I went to the PMDG\SIDSTAR folder and searched up KLAS and my KLAS.txt file was there. I am subscribed to navigraph currently and when I went into the text file all of the sids and stars were inputted in there by navigraph. Thats all I have tried at the moment regarding this issue, I was faced with this issue again today as I departed Helsinki bound for Las Vegas on the freighter version. Hopefully someone can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Regards, Luke
February 20, 20224 yr Try this. Go to {SIM}\PMDG\NavData and delete the ARPT_RWY.dat Start the sim again and select the 744. A new ARPT_RWY.dat will be created and this should solve the issue 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
February 20, 20224 yr Author Hi there, I just tried this, and although the sids and stars come up in a very weird format (the sids have runways in their names) it does work and if this is the only airport where this happens im more than happy with it. I appreciate your help today. Happy flying! Regards, Luke
February 20, 20224 yr The other potential issue might be if you have your own saved flight and reload from it versus loading the default a/c and just moving it to a new location and trying from there. Other than that I have no idea how to help, sorry. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
