Stutters and panning CTD

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,
before creating this post I waited for the new SU and played a lot with settings but nothing changed.
I have a GTX 1080 and an I7-9700K @3.60 and lately, every time I use the sim I experience quite regular stutters (no matter the plane I use, it just stutters), especially during view panning and even some CTD or freezes when I pan the view too fast right after loading the sim.

I'm quite a noob with graphic settings so I tried following some guides online, especially on V-sync but nothing helped.
Any ideas on how to address this?

Do you have anything in the community folder? If yes, then try with nothing in it.

Also, make sure you have "Off Screen Terrain Pre-Catch" option set to "Ultra"

I tried removing AIG (I didn't do that before because I had stuttering even if there wasn't any AI Plane in sight) and apparently it fixed the stuttering.
Now I wonder, is it possibile that AIG can cause such a performance loss even with Traffic Control closed and no displayed airplane?

I suppose in your case it does, I have Traffic on but set tp Real-Time.
