March 27, 20224 yr Cairns CIrcuit We start and finish in Cairns on the tropical north east coast of Far North Queensland. The route proceeds south then west into Atherton Tableland where we will visit a number of small “missing” airstrips and cattle stations. Please note that Far North Queensland Missing Airfields is a REQUIRED scenery for this trip. Flightplan HERE I plan to fly the route in the Aerosoft DHC-6 Twin Otter in Rex Livery. Total distance of the route is 294 nm and an aircraft capable of 150 knts cruise and able to land in the outback is preferred, but as always you are free to fly what you like. NOTAM: The author of the Far North Queensland Missing Airfields has included a text file "Queensland Airfields.txt" in the package that has useful and interesting information about some of our stops on this trip. It is worth a read and you might want to keep it handy. Little NavMap users may want to re-scan their scenery libraries to pick up the missing strips. | Windows 11 | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | i9-14900K | RTX 4090 | 64GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 | 4TB Samsung 990 PRO M.2 | 2x 4TB Samsung 990 PRO M.2 | CORSAIR AX1600i ATX Titanium | LG C2 42 Inch 4K OLED |
