New here and have a Q

Hi guys I'm new here but not new to MSFS or aviation. The question I have is this: Are there any multiplayer events scheduled here? I'm not a gamer per say, so this whole Xbox live thing is foreign to me. Is this the only way to fly together with a group? And if so, where do I find other players in the sim?

Welcome to the club! 

I always fly with multiplayer MP on but that 'just' shows you other player around you on the ground and in the air. For scheduled MP events, yes there are many, MSFS plans some every once in a while (guess even weekly) but never attended one tbh. Hello, the best way to find events with MSFS is on there community forums and the community section "Community Events"  if you like flying cessna we have a event on every sunday called EasternHops "Cessna Sundays"
