May 23, 200719 yr Hi all. I had a search but couldn't find an answer to this one. Just upgraded from an athlon3500+, 1Gb DDR-400, and ATI x800xtpe 256Mb to: C2D e6600, 2Gb DDR2-800, nV 8800gts 640Mb. The new performance is great but on the same (med-high) settings I used with the ATI, I now get these horrible self-shadows.I'm using the 158.22 drivers in XP. Is there a simple solution to this?Thanks,Chrishttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172217.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/172218.jpg
May 23, 200719 yr Author I get the same result (well, a little bit better) with a X1900XT and Cat 7.4. I just leave it off for now...
