Linda Download Issue

Featured Replies

Hello,

I would really appreciate some assistance getting LINDA up and running. I recently purchased a Bravo Throttle Quadrant and am hoping to set it up in the FBW A320. I have the most recent version of LINDA downloaded as well as the most recent version of FSUIPC7.

This is my installation folder: https://imgur.com/1aWrHxc

I moved the files from the LINDA folder into the FSUIPC7 root folder. I believe I followed the directions properly, but I may have made a mistake.

When I have LINDA open while FSUIPC7 is running, I get this warning that FSUIPC files are not found: https://imgur.com/v7iKCPy

When I click the "action required" button, I get taken to this page: https://imgur.com/ZqIzrxn

I'm unsure what to do here. I've spent almost two hours now on Youtube and the forum trying to figure this out, but can't seem to make any progress.

This is the contents of my linda2.log folder after starting LINDA.

[MAIN]  LINDA Version 4.1.4.281 initialising (@2204252257) ...

[MAIN]  LINDA 4.1.4.281 GUI starting...

[MAIN]  Checking LINDA/FSUIPC Folders/Files ...
[MAIN]  -- Checking in C:\FSUIPC7
[MAIN]  --- File fsuipc7.key missing in C:\FSUIPC7\

I really appreciate any help!

Best,

Alex E.

Hi Alex

First of all please do not cut and paste fulll logs into posts. It just clutters the forum.

The 'missing' FSUIPC7 file is the key. You need a full, paid version of FSUIPC7 for LINDA to work. See https://secure.simmarket.com/john-dowson-fsuipc7-for-msfs.phtml. If you have already done this, either copy your existing fsuipc7.key file into the C:/FSUIPC7 folder or ensure you click on the Register button when installing.

Hi Scot,

Thanks for the reply! I apologize for posting the full log. Won't do that again. I'll purchase a FSUIPC7 license and it sounds like that should fix the issue.

Thanks!
Alex

Somehow it posted my reply three times. Not sure how that happened. It looks like the post has to be approved by a mod before it goes through so please only approve one of them. Thanks!
