Stuttering and Application controlled vertical sync

Hi all,I've been doing some experimenting with my video card settings and thought it might help some of you.Forceware 93.81 drivers, 1600x1200, FSX in full screen mode- Vsync on and fps set to unlimited :good FPS and barely any stutters.- Vsync off and fps set to unlimited :good FPS, barely any stutters but some image-tearing (normal on an LCD display when FPS is higher than the 60Hz refresh speed ).- Application controlled vsync + locked fps (24) in FSX :good FPS and barely any stutters.- Application controlled vsync + unlocked fps in FSX :very fluctuating FPS and HEAVY STUTTERS.So in case you have stutters, you might want to have a look at your video card settings....Hope this helpsJean-PaulAsus P5W DH Deluxe - Core 2 Duo E6600@3Ghz - Leadtek 7950 GT TDH 512 - 4 x 1GB Kingmax DDR2 667 CL5 RAM - 2 x 250GB Hitachi T7K250 SATA2 AHCI - Creative Audigy 2 Value - Antec Sonata 2 Case - 450W Antec SmartPower 2.0 PSU - Samsung SyncMaster 204B 20" - Windows XP Pro SP2 - TrackIR 4 Pro - Saitek X52
