Odd "glitchy" moments during cruise

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am generally experiencing great performance with frames usually in the 40-60 region (FBWA320) however most of the time get several instances during cruise where the sim will almost seize up with stutters for about 20 seconds and then somehow recover and continue like nothing happened. Tonight the plane went into a wild barrell roll in one of these "seizures" but again it recovered perfectly and on I went.  It's very odd really, just wondering if anyone else out there is having this issue. In the old days it was weather "re-loading" that usually did this but this time I'm not so sure about that.

Edit: OK I also found a historic topic here so this goes way back Random stutters/pauses after takeoff, during cruise, etc. - Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) - The AVSIM Community
