Fuzzy exterior aircraft texures post SP1

Since reinstalling FSX and SP1 my exterior aircraft textures are fuzzy.Mainly the name on exterior of 737.Defaults are fuzzy also.Thanks for any suggestions.Ron

Chief Illiniwek at the University of Illinois.It used to be "Save the Chief!",but the "Do-Gooders" forced us to get rid of him.All he did was a ceremonial dance at halftime of games,not like Florida State where the Indian and horse are riding around all during the game. We alumni now have a bumper sticker out "No Chief,No Check.Thanks for asking.You are the first to do so.Ron

I just looked it up.That is a somewhat more controversial subject than "The Chief".I don't want to go there.Not in this public forum.Ron

Meanwhile, back at the ranch ;)Have you tried zooming in and then zooming out on the exterior to see if that sharpens it? If so, it's a gpu load problem. What are your specs?If not, then have you turned up the resolution slider on the aircraft page in the options menu?Allcott

I was just about to ask "what about my original post".I will look into what you are asking.All I know is I wasn't having this fuzziness before a clean reinstall and SP1 patch.I don't remember what my previous settings were so I will have to experiment.Zooming in and out does not help. P4 2.4, 1.5 ram Invidia 256 6600 video card.FS is running well for me considering my machine.Thanks,Ron
