May 16, 20224 yr I just start working with LINDA with my VRInsight combo and I must say that working with LINDA is great, not difficult at all. Is it possible to also work with other (self made) panels and, for example, a FMC in combination with hardware like an Arduino? Or is it restricted to the VRInsight products? _______________________________________ Jaap Riemens / EHRD B737-700 + 600 / VATSIM_______________________________________
May 16, 20224 yr @Krekel325 I am glad you are finding LINDA useful. LINDA was originally designed, before my time, to make up for the deficiencies of the VRI software. The code is specific to VRI Combo panels and more recently the VRI CDUs. It also works with HID joystick devices and some USB card that behave as joysticks. It would require knowledge of any new equipment and its interface to work with other panels. May 16, 20224 yr Author Thanks Andrew, I was thinking if this would work on Arduino Mega cards for example, when used together with the current LINDA interface that would be great for home panel and cockpit builders. That market is huge. I must say that I recently starting working with LINDA plus reading more about it. So I don't know much about the software but when I would be made possible to address Arduino Mega's, then the options would be great. The hardware is pretty cheap, like regular rotary encoders, tactile switches and 7 segment displays, LED's etc. _______________________________________ Jaap Riemens / EHRD B737-700 + 600 / VATSIM_______________________________________
