June 3, 200719 yr Hello Gang!My latest observation is that FSX tends to pause and minimize itself a couple of minutes into any flight. This issue tends to happen a couple of minutes after takeoff for the most part, even though I have also experienced it during final approach. It appears that once FSX does this, if I click on the minimized program (at the bottom of my screen), within a minute or two, the sim window comes back and everything resumes (I have to hit P to get things to continue because the window re-appears in Pause mode). I am running a virgin installation of FSX + SP1; I wonder if other users have reported this anomaly. I wonder if it could be related to SP1, perhaps?Thanks for any input! Sincerely,Dennis D. June 3, 200719 yr Dennis,A similar thing happened to me a couple of years ago. The cause was a background process (Anti virus program). Have you checked if you have any scheduled tasks or background processes that might make FSX minimize?Ulf B :-)
