June 7, 20223 yr You can assign the CRS functions to the CRS knob. What aircraft and MCP are you referring to? June 8, 20223 yr Author I have the EFIS/MCP/COM combo (VRInsight) and I'm flying the MSFS version of the PMDG 737.. So I have no CRS knob. I was thinking to use the COM knob and switch between the left and right CRS knob.. _______________________________________ Jaap Riemens / EHRD B737-700 + 600 / VATSIM_______________________________________
June 8, 20223 yr Are you referring to the VRI Combo 2 MCP2A Airbus? In this case, the CRS option is behind the DME button on the Radio panel and turning the Radio knob. Ensure that the CRS functions _inc/_dev are assigned to the MCP Radio DME/CRS knob. This should be assigned by default. Maybe that is working the same way, I'll check! _______________________________________ Jaap Riemens / EHRD B737-700 + 600 / VATSIM_______________________________________
June 19, 20223 yr Author Ok, the left CRS knob can be used via the DME button (DME1), when I switch to DME2 to change the right CRS know, it also changes the left CRS knob and not the one on the right. Is there a way to fix this because I can't find the settings to do that... _______________________________________ Jaap Riemens / EHRD B737-700 + 600 / VATSIM_______________________________________

It is only possible to configure it for personal use ie if you want to fly as FO. If you look at the MCP User Configuration you will see extra functions assigned to the DME/FRE knob. These functions work in addition to the default DME actions and loaded via the config-MCP2A.default file. You can change the assignment to the similarly named CRS-R functions to switch to the FO position.
