Is there a fsx version of AirEd?Some installed a/c don't show up, so I need to edit the .air file, but AirEd doesn't seem to work with FSX's .air file. Help!

Why do you need to edit the air file to see the aircraft when it's controlled by the aircraft.cfg file. Which aircraft?Allcott

AirEd works fine with the FSX air files.However, the controlling item about if an aircraft shows up in the FSX select aircraft menu is not in the .AIR file.If the aircraft has a panel folder - it shows up.No panel folder - no aircraft visible.Also be aware that normally FSX only shows you the default aircraft repaint of each model. You have to check the Show All Variations box on the Select Aircrat screen.
